The sad tale of Phil the Filing Cabinet This is the story of another filing cabinet put out of work by eMagic Trio. To respect his privacy, we'll call him "Phil" and the company he worked for "Generic Mortgage Lending." |

Phil the Filing Cabinet didn't expect much from life. From the moment he was born on the factory floor, it seemed he was destined to spend his days as an unorganized, overstuffed, lazy filing cabinet who sat around the office all day. |

And that's all he ever amounted to at Generic Mortgage Lending – that is, until eMagic Trio came along... Phil noticed the changes right away. The loan officers who always put their coffee on top of him stopped coming by in the morning. They stopped shoving more and more file folders into the back of his drawers. They even stopped kicking him when a loan document was apparently lost. Phil became worried. Had he done something wrong? Was GML going out of business? Then he overheard that the loan officers had switched to eMagic Trio. Instead of filing loan docs in Phil, they were now filing, storing and archiving them online in virtual Trio folders. They said it was easier, saved them time and money, was more secure, and was accessible from anywhere at anytime. A few months passed, and the loan officers began removing file folders from Phil. Eventually, Phil saw the writing on the wall – he was about to lose the only job he ever had. He felt empty inside. The next morning, Phil was carted out of the office with not so much as a goodbye. Still, Phil left with knowing he had done a standup job for almost twenty years. He put together a resume with the hopes of landing a job at another mortgage company, but Phil the Filing Cabinet was just no match for the convenience of eMagic Trio. Just when he was about to give up, Phil heard about a filing clerk position at the local scrap metal plant. On the day of the interview, traffic was heavy and Phil showed up late and didn't get the job. He was crushed.

Alphemagical Fun!We made a resolution in January's issue to have more fun this year, and this month's puzzle delivers on that promise. This one's a bit trickier than last month, but we know you can do it. Every letter in the puzzle needs to be replaced with the actual letter it represents. For instance, T = A, so wherever you see a T in the puzzle, you fill in an A. The more letters you fill in, the easier it will become to solve the puzzle. Fax the complete puzzle to us at 414-347-6464 by February 9th. One lucky recipient will receive a great eMagic surprise.
