Fluffy, Pepper, Baxter and Duke

Plus thousands of other ways to add security to your eMagic experience
Identity verification questions are becoming increasingly common security measures online, and pet names like Fluffy and Duke are leading the way. Of course, if you don’t have a pet, a childhood nickname or the street on which you grew up are great alternatives. Essentially, you need a tidbit of personal information that is easy to remember and that no one else would easily guess.

In April, as a security enhancement, eMagic will begin prompting users to answer an identity verification question when obtaining a temporary password. You may have already completed this process, but if you can't recall your question or answer, log in to eMagic to access your profile. The security question can be accessed on the first page of the profile screen under 'Security Information.' This process is simple to complete, and is just one more way eMagic works to keep your data and information secure.

Never share your passwords with anyone (especially your mother). |
| |
 |
Create hard-to-guess passwords that include numbers and a combination of upper and lower case letters (my password, Irty1wtc, is a good example). |
| |
 |
If you need to write down your password to remember it, store it in your wallet (or use invisible ink). |
| |
 |
Do not use the 'Remember Password' feature for any application (instead, use the remember password feature in your brain). |

Hugger? I just wanna shake her hand!
Congratulations to Brenna Hugger of Qualified Residential Lending, Inc. of Canby, OR for being selected as the News & Views puzzle winner for March. Brenna provided the correct puzzle results, determining that "eMagic Trio's document imaging system helps you stay competitive." For submitting the correct results, Brenna received a plethora of great eMagic prizes.
If you want a shot at some fun eMagic prizes, solve this month's puzzle, "Tiles & Smiles." Here's how it works: unscramble the tiles to reveal a message. For example, PLE belongs in the first tile. What comes next – AGI? LIK? Hmmm ...
Once you solve the puzzle, do what the message tells you to do*, and fax your answer to (414) 347-6464 by Friday, April 13th.
*Your responses may be published by eMagic.
